One of the pistons removed from the used engine. Note the condition of the rod bearings in the background. It is apparent that the previous owner of this engine made a point of beating on the car before the engine reached proper operating temperature. Even so, this engine managed 200k+ before giving up the ghost. The 4G63T is fairly robust.
